The Background:

ROOTSTOCK has been a cornerstone of Napa Valley's winegrowing community for over 17 years. Initially known as the "Vit Fair" tradeshow, later the "Wine & Grape Expo," ROOTSTOCK has continuously evolved to meet the needs of Napa’s growers and industry leaders. In 2023, the event shifted to a new programming format designed to provide deeper, more focused insights into the challenges that growers face today. In 2024, we’re building on that evolution.

2024's Focus:

This year, ROOTSTOCK will focus on two significant viral threats to vineyard health: Leafroll Virus and Red Blotch Disease. These viruses are causing increased concern for growers, reducing fruit quality, and negatively impacting vineyard profitability. With no cure available, the importance of early detection, innovative management practices, and cutting-edge research has never been higher.

ROOTSTOCK 2024 will feature expert-led sessions and panel discussions that dive into the latest research and mitigation strategies to address Leafroll and Red Blotch. As this is the second year in our enhanced programming format, attendees can expect more in-depth educational content, a collaborative learning environment, and actionable takeaways to implement in their vineyards.

Who Should Attend?

ROOTSTOCK is designed for a wide range of industry professionals committed to advancing Napa Valley's viticultural excellence. Attendees should include:
