Sip and Support Program

As a non-profit organization, the Napa Valley Grapegrowers relies on donations, sponsorships, grants, and membership dues to fund our work. Every dollar that we receive from our generous community is used to fulfill our mission: To cultivate viticultural excellence and environmental stewardship for the Napa Valley.
 
Please consider implementing one of the programs below to raise funds to support the Napa Valley Grapegrowers. It’s a win-win-win: you are able to support our important education and advocacy efforts in exchange for promotion among our robust member and donor communications, including emails and social media posts; and those who purchase your wines learn more about a crucial non-profit organization that works to ensure the viability and resiliency of grape growing in the Napa Valley.

Create an easy way for your customers to make a donation

1. Select a date or time frame, such as:
   1. National Agriculture Month or the like
   2. A single holiday like Earth Day, Ag Day, or Mother's/Father's Day
   3. Harvest, the Holidays, or any month or day
2. Select a donation, such as:
   1. 10-20% on all tasting room sales
   2. 10-20% on all ecommerce sales
   3. 10-20% on a wine club shipment
   4. $1 for every bottle sold of a single SKU
   5. 5-10% of proceeds from grape sales
3. Share the details with NVG team. We will promote your program with:
   1. A printable flyer to frame and post in your tasting room
   2. Sample email copy with a link to donate on the NVG website
   3. Sample social media posts, including graphics and copy
   4. All of which will be shared with you prior to program start for your approval
4. Spread the word!
   1. Create a shelf-talker that highlights your support
   2. Promote among your staff with talking points provided by the Napa Valley Grapegrowers – or invite our staff to make a presentation
   3. Promote with email campaigns with dedicated messaging
   4. Create a landing page on your website that highlights your program and your support of our community
   5. Partner with Napa Valley Grapegrowers to promote via social and/or share our posts! Follow us on Facebook and Instagram:

Other ways to make donations:

1. Provide a donation option at checkout
   1. Create a checkbox for $1 donation to the Napa Valley Grapegrowers
   2. Create a “round-up” option
2. Use your 1% for the Planet pledge for an NVG sponsorship or donation
