Job Satisfaction Project

The Job Satisfaction Project

The Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation and Napa Valley Grapegrowers have partnered with the University of California Cooperative Extension on a farmworker job satisfaction project to improve the wellbeing of farmworkers by promoting equitable working conditions. The project includes a survey that allows employees to anonymously assess their work environment, providing valuable data for employers to improve work conditions with targeted strategies. This valuable data can help employers:
  • Address labor issues such as turnover
  • Improve company productivity
  • Foster the well-being of farmworkers
The survey should be completed by August 31st and responses are anonymous. Participating employers will receive results for their company within two weeks of completion as well as aggregate results for all participating companies at the end of September.
Engage employee participation in the survey in the following ways:
  1. Schedule a Visit: Schedule a time for a UCCE and FWF staff member to visit your site to share information about survey participation
  2. Email: Email your teams about the survey with quick-access survey links
  3. Print: Print the flyer and post to bulletin boards around your workplace or share it directly with managers and supervisors
  4. Remind: Remind your teams a few times to complete the survey – the more responses we receive, the more effective the survey!
