Napa Valley Grapegrowers (NVG) and the Farmworker Foundation (FWF) are working with our partners at St. Helena Hospital Foundation (SHHF) to coordinate booster shots for Napa County ag workers. The FDA and CDC have approved boosters for individuals 18 years or older who "work in high-risk settings," which included ag workers; so now is the time to begin planning for booster shots for your vineyard and winery teams.
NVG and FWF have worked with SHHF to compile the following FAQs on booster eligibility and how to schedule an appointment.
To schedule boosters for your team at the clinic or to reserve the mobile health unit to come to your property, employers may contact Noemi Mauricio at (707) 815-2544 or [email protected]. Individuals may also make booster appointments at local pharmacy locations such as CVS Pharmacy and Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy.
