Financial Farming Model

The NVG Financial Farming Model is an innovative financial planning tool designed to help vineyard owners and managers make informed business decisions. Developed by Brotemarkle, Davis, & Co. and presented by Craig Underhill, this model provides a comprehensive look at vineyard financials, enabling growers to anticipate outcomes and refine their financial strategies.

About the Model

The NVG Financial Farming Model was created with input from local growers to address the unique challenges of vineyard financial management. The tool is designed to:

• Provide profit and loss forecasts
• Analyze financials by acres and tons
• Offer cash flow projections
• Enable users to run "what if" scenarios for strategic planning

Two versions of the model are available to accommodate different vineyard management structures:

• Farm Labor Contractor Model
• Vineyard Employee Model
