2010 NVG Frost Alert

NVG Grower & Vineyard Manager members only - $30 per member or free with annual subscription to Precision Forecasting Weather Service

The Napa Valley Grapegrowers is excited to bring its members the NVG "Frost Alert" in 2010. The Frost Alert is a NVG members-only program created to help our grower and vineyard manager members effectively plan during frost season. Each grower who subscribed to the service in 2009 was impressed by how easy and valuable this service was during the 2009 season.

Frost Alert Details

· The Alert will begin on March 1st and end on May 15th

· NVG members who enroll will receive a county-wide frost alert from Erik Moldstad of Precision Forecasting
between 3pm - 4pm every day

· Grower & Vineyard Manager members can choose up to 3 additional telephone numbers to receive the Alert each day. These additional people must be employed by the NVG member.

· NVG members-only program - $30 per member.

· If you are an NVG member and an existing Precision Forecasting with the annual weather service subscription, the Frost Alert can be added as a complimentary service. Call the NVG office for more details.
