Bruce Phillips • President
Bruce Phillips is a fifteen year veteran of the beverage and consumer product industry, and has been involved with a variety of ventures, from Odwalla Inc. to Constellation Brands Inc., where he currently serves as Director of IT Business Strategy. Bruce also serves as General Manager of Phillips Farming Company, a premium Oakville cabernet grower in the Napa Valley. He lives in Napa with his wife Heather and their two children, Nate and Eliza.
David Beckstoffer • Vice President
David Beckstoffer is the President of Beckstoffer Vineyards, the largest independent grape grower in the North Coast region. Beckstoffer Vineyards grows wine grapes in the Napa Valley as well as both Mendocino and Lake Counties. David has served as a Director of the Napa Valley Grapegrowers since 2003.
Sam Turner • Treasurer
Sam Turner earned his Bachelor of Science from Cal Poly in 1979, and spent a number of years farming in the Woodland area before returning to school to receive his Masters Degree in Viticulture from UCD in 1983. Sam entered the wine industry by working at Christian Brothers in 1985. He launched his own vineyard management company in 1994 and today is the owner of Vista Vineyard Management. Sam farms for more than 25 clients and manages over 900 acres. He has been happily married to Dianne Martinez for nearly 30 years, and they have two sons: Derin, 23, and Lucas, 20.
Randy Snowden • Past President
Randy is a managing director of Snowden Vineyards. Growers since 1955, the Snowden family has provided grapes to several Napa Valley wineries, including Stags Leap Wine Cellars, Silver Oak, Frank Family, Viader, Caymus, and Livingston. They began producing their own estate wines in 1993. Randy is also the director of the Napa County Health and Human Services Agency.
