Grower of the Year

Each year, the Napa Valley Grapegrowers bestows the Grower of the Year award, one of the most prestigious awards in the industry, to a Napa Valley vineyard owner or manager who exemplifies leadership and innovation in our field.

Members of the Napa Valley Grapegrowers submit annual nominations, which are reviewed by the Grower of the Year Award Committee.  The Award Committee is comprised of 2 active members of an NVG committee; the current Board President; and 2 Past Presidents of the organization, and their selection is based on the following criteria:

  • Leadership in the preservation of Napa County agriculture
  • Known for farming high quality Napa winegrapes
